The Last Call Girls Articles

Check out my latest articles on Kansas City's alt.country quintet, The Last Call Girls. These up-and-comers are making a lot of noise this summer.

One of the jewels that I came across on my recent trip to Kansas City was the alt.country group, The Last Call Girls.

Four out of the five band members are women, and as the band told me, this can create "a lot of drama." But it also inspires a unique new interpretation of country music. Blending elements of honky-tonk, punk rock, and the blues, this band is sure to make waves far beyond their Midwestern hometown.
