The Sadies on Tour

Toronto’s country-surf extraordinaires, The Sadies, have a new live album in stores and are back on the road to promote it. This may be the best show you ever see.

Want more bang for your concert buck? Well, my friends, such economization is easily accomplished with the Sadies.

For those of you who don't know, the Sadies are Dallas and Travis Good, Sean Dean, and Mike Belitsky and hail from the T-Dot, better known as Toronto, Canada. They play a rip-roaring mélange of country, punk, surf, and all sorts of other music with an energy rarely seen onstage today.

Folk101 is convinced that this amazing foursome is the most exciting live act playing today in Canada, and maybe in all of North America.

I know, I know... that sounds incredibly lofty, but would I lie to you? Okay, that was one time... I swear I've changed.

Anyway, I'll prove it to you. This past weekend Folk101 was there as the Sadies made a triumphant return to Montreal. Not only did they play to a packed house of crazed fans, but they played dozens upon dozens of songs in a set that extended well past midnight.

They also have a new live album out that is guaranteed to blow your mind.
